China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch A320 retired

On 6 January 2021, with the safe landing of China Eastern Airlines flight MU2306 in Lanzhou, China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch B2209 (Airbus A320) aircraft completed its historical mission and was honourably retired. With 14 years of ups and downs, this "old friend" accompanied China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch grow and soar all the way. "He" has witnessed the hardworking spirit of China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch and the vigorous development of Gansu's civil aviation industry.

The Airbus B2209 aircraft that left the factory in 1999 was officially transferred to China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch on 1 December  2007 and became a new member of the Gansu Branch fleet (the aircraft type is Airbus A320-214, equipped with CFM56-5B engines and with a maximum take-off weight of 77 tons).

After 21 years of baptism, B-2209 bid farewell to the blue sky and completed its flight mission in China Eastern Airlines Gansu Branch. The total flight hours are about 63,378 hours and the flight cycle is 36070 times.
