China Southern's three strategic actions to serve the Guizhou economy

"Strengthen Civil Aviation, Strengthen Provincial Capital and Strong Revitalization" Guizhou Airlines' three strategic actions to serve local economy
Reporter : Wang Chen / http://www.minhangshi.com/m/h5/detail/9136893 / Translation, editing : Gan Yung Chyan, KUCINTA SETIA

The Fourth Session of the Thirteenth National People’s Congress of Guizhou Province outlined the grand blueprint for the “14th Five-Year Plan” of Guizhou Province and its long-term goals in 2035. As a joint holding company of Guizhou Province and China Southern Airlines, China Southern Airlines Guizhou Company (Guizhou Airlines in short) will earnestly implement the spirit of the meeting, give full play to aviation advantages, As a central enterprise, we will implement the three strategic actions of “Strengthening Civil Aviation, Strengthening the Provincial Capital, and Rejuvenation” to better contribute to the rapid economic growth of Guizhou.

Implement the "Strengthen Civil Aviation" strategic action to serve the economy

Increase the investment of transportation capacity and enlarge the scale of the civil aviation market in Guizhou. Guizhou Airlines will actively promote China Southern Airlines Group and the Guizhou Provincial Government to jointly study the development direction of Guizhou Airlines’ transportation market, and strive to increase the capacity of China Southern Airlines Group’s investment in Guizhou to more than 40 by 2025 based on the availability of traffic rights, time and other resources. At the same time, increase the investment in the transportation capacity of the branch line airports in Guizhou Province, build the branch line support base, form the linkage effect of the trunk and branch, and enhance the transportation capacity of Guizhou Province to reach the main urban agglomeration.

Increase investment in infrastructure and build "three centre". At present, the aviation maintenance project in the new production support zone of Guizhou Airlines has been completed, and it can be put into use after the supporting access roads and the water and electricity pipe network are completed. After the project is completed, the aircraft maintenance depot of Guizhou Airlines will be the largest hangar in Guizhou Province, capable of parking two Class C (Boeing 737-800 or Airbus 320) aircraft or one Class E (Boeing 787 or Airbus 330) aircraft at the same time. Guiyang will become an important C inspection and maintenance base for China Southern Airlines Group in the southwest region, and become an aviation maintenance center for China Southern Airlines Southwest. Guiyang will accelerate the construction of a new catering building. After completion, it will produce 18,000 aircraft meals per day and become China Southern Airlines Southwest Regional Aviation Catering Center.

Guizhou Airlines strives to incorporate the construction of comprehensive support areas into China Southern Airlines Group’s "14th Five-Year Plan" key base project construction plan, and strives to start construction and use early to build an aviation training center in Southwest China.

Explore new models for promoting the development of civil aviation supporting services to help the development of big data in Guizhou. Guizhou Airlines will actively promote China Southern Airlines' research on the "Relocation of Mall Headquarters and Call Center to Guizhou" program, and use the Guizhou big data platform to increase the collaboration and cooperation of data applications to boost Guizhou's economic development in an all-round way.

Implement the "Strong Provincial Capital" strategic action to drive the economy

Optimize the route structure and widen the air bridge. Guiyang Airlines will closely focus on the core hubs of Guangzhou and Beijing, and concentrate its advantageous resources to build the Guiyang-Beijing Express Line, and gradually realize the daily average of more than 8 flights on this route; Guiyang-Guangzhou optimizes the schedule, effectively connects the hub flight wave, and greatly expands the Guizhou market through the hub The coverage of the route network; focus on the main routes, and strive to increase the number of routes in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Urumqi and Hainan; take the benefit-oriented, strengthen the optimization of stopover routes.

Increase investment in supporting facilities to help the construction of Guiyang Airport. Actively promote China Southern Airlines Group to participate in the expansion process of Guiyang Airport, determine supporting investment and construction plans, build supporting infrastructure required for the operation base, strive to achieve simultaneous operation with the airport expansion project, and assist in solving the systematic and important aspects of the development of the airline company in the construction of Guiyang Airport. Sexual issues.

Implement the "Strong Revitalization" strategic action to boost the economy

Consolidate the construction of freight infrastructure. Through the efficient linkage of the air cargo network and the modern warehousing sector, Gui Air will improve the competitiveness of air logistics and transportation in Southwest China, and focus on building "Guizhou Goods out of  the mountain" and "Guizhou Goods out of Ocean" service brands. Relying on the advantages of China Southern Airlines' freight logistics network, it can reach domestic and international destinations.

Help "Guizhou Goods out of the mountain". Guizhou Airlines will reduce transportation costs through preferential tariffs, open up new routes to broaden the cities for Guizhou's goods, and use China Southern Airlines' own mall to open up sales channels for Guizhou's goods. Support the sales of agricultural products in Guizhou, and at the same time use specialty food products of well-known brands in Guizhou Province on China Southern Airlines flights, and actively promote the implementation of the poverty alleviation strategy in Guizhou Province.

Serving the "Grand Tourism" strategy. Guizhou Airlines will use various channels such as the "Guizhou" color inkjet aircraft to increase the promotion of Guizhou's tourism resources, so that more people will pay attention to Guizhou, understand Guizhou, and travel to Guizhou, actively promote "introduction to Guizhou", and better serve Guizhou "Grand Tourism" strategy.

This year is the first year of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Guizhou Airlines will base itself on the new development stage, adhere to the new development concept, serve the new development pattern, and contribute more to the economic and social development of Guizhou.
