According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the Bahrain News Agency quoted the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority as a report that, after Saudi Arabia, the Bahraini government allowed Israeli flights to and from the UAE to fly over its own airspace.

Previously, in the context of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the UAE and Israel, at the request of the UAE, Saudi Arabia allowed all flights to the UAE and all flights from the UAE to other countries to pass through its own airspace, including flights from the UAE to Israel.

According to the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, all round-trip flights from the UAE have been allowed to fly over Bahrain’s airspace.

Earlier, the Israeli delegation and the US delegation visited Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, and discussed the details of the signing of the agreement on the normalization of relations between the UAE and Israel. The agreement is expected to be signed in Washington on 18 September 2020. The delegation took the first direct flight from Tel Aviv to the UAE via Saudi Arabia. The flight time was about 3 hours.
