9air launches non-stop flight to Sanming from Guangzhou on 17 September 2020

9air, the low-cost subsidiary of Juneyao Air, has announced on Weibo on 14 September 2020 that it is launching its first direct flight from Guangzhou to Sanming Shaxian Airport in Fujian Province on 17 September 2020.

On 17 September 2020, 9air flight AQ1289 departs from Guangzhou for Sanming at 7.15 pm, touches down in Sanming at 8.30 pm before leaving Sanming for Guangzhou at 9.25 pm and arriving in Guangzhou at 10.55 pm under flight AQ1290.

9air flies three times a week from Guangzhou to Sanming, on Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, 9air will select three winners from readers who comment their most favourite Shaxian snack and forward the post to friends on Weibo and give them free 9air aircraft models and umbrellas.

The popular authentic Shaxian snacks include the classic mix of noodles and flat meat, crystal clear siu mai and taro dumplings. In addition, in Sanming one can also find the Youxi Terraces, one of the top ten scenic spots on the west side of the Taiwan Strait, which is about to usher in a golden autumn.

The daily flight ticket from Guangzhou starts from 269 RMB and it is available for purchase on 9air's web-site.
