On 18 September 2020, Spring Airlines receives its first Airbus A321neo aircraft in Tianjin.
The A321neo jet completed the final assembly in Hamburg, Germany, and was transferred to the Airbus Tianjin Delivery Center in early September. With the joint efforts of relevant regulatory agencies, Spring Airlines and Airbus Hamburg and Tianjin teams, the aircraft was successfully delivered and became the first A321neo aircraft delivered by Airbus Tianjin Delivery Center.
Spring Airlines' A321neo aircraft uses CFM International's LEAP-1A engine and adopts a comfortable full economy class layout with a total of 240 seats. After the aircraft is delivered, it will first be deployed on Spring Airlines' domestic flight operations. As of the end of August 2020, Spring Airlines operates an all-air passenger fleet consisting of 96 A320 series aircraft.
