Loongair launches scheduled A320 flight to Tashkent from Chengdu on 10 January 2020. The Chengdu - Tashkent route is Loongair's second route to Tashkent after its Xi'an - Tashkent route, which was launched on 17 September 2019.
Departing on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Loongair flight GJ8791 departs from Chengdu for Tashkent at 3.10 pm, arrives in Tashkent at 6.10 pm before leaving Tashkent for Chengdu at 7.40 pm and touching down in Chengdu at 3.50 am under flight GJ8792.
Passengers from Tashkent and Central Asia may connect to Loongair's flights from Chengdu to Chinese cities such as Handan and Dalian or from Xi'an to Shiyi and Guilin.
Loongair, Zhejiang Province's airline with headquarters in Hangzhou, has launched base companies in Chengdu and Xi'an on 5 June 2019 and 17 July 2019 respectively. It owns 46 A320 jets operating flights on more than 300 domestic and international routes including Macau and Cam Ranh.
Further afield, Loongair plans to launch scheduled flight to Jakarta in 2020.
