According to Macau International Airport, Air Koryo has terminated its Pyongyang - Macau route for the second time.
The airport web-site has been consistently showing flight cancellations by Air Koryo on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays since December 2019.
Macau International Airport in a telephone interview replied to the reporter that the schedules of Air Koryo are charter flights, not scheduled flights. Air Koryo does not fly to Macau unless the aircraft is full.
The airport does not have information on the Sales Agent of Air Koryo tickets in Macau either.
Air Koryo resumed flights to Macau from Pyongyang in October 2019 after a delay of two months from 2 August 2019 with its An-148 aircraft. The North Korean airline owns a fleet of 2 An-148, 2 Tu-154 and 2 Tu-204 aircraft.
