Thai AirAsia launches flights from Chiang Rai to Macau, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur by end of January 2019

Thai AirAsia announced on 17 December 2018 that it will launch international flights from Chiang Rai to Macau, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur by end of January 2019.

The first Thai AirAsia flight from Chiang Rai to Macau takes off on 30 January 2019 and will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On 30 January 2019, Thai AirAsia flight FD290 departs from Chiang Rai for Macau at 8.15 am, touches down in Macau at 11.35 am before leaving Macau for Chiang Rai at 12.05 pm and arriving in Chiang Rai at 2.05 pm under flight FD291.

Thai AirAsia launches flights from Chiang Rai to Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on 31 January 2019. The respective flight schedules are as follows:-

Flight FD926 departs from Chiang Rai for Singapore at 7.10 am, arrives in Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 11.30 am before leaving Singapore for Chiang Rai at 12.30 pm and landing in Chiang Rai at 2.30 pm under flight FD927. Thai AirAsia operates thrice-weekly flights on this route, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

At 3.15 pm, the A320 aircraft of Thai AirAsia under flight FD830 leaves Chiang Rai for Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) at 3.15 pm and lands in KLIA2 at 7.20 pm before taking off for Chiang Rai at 7.50 pm and arriving in Chiang Rai at 9.40 pm under flight FD831. Flights between Chiang Rai and KLIA2 are carried out on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
