On 30 November 2018, Juneyao Air announced the launch of its daily Dreamliner flight from Shanghai Pudong to Singapore Changi on 1 February 2019. Interested customers can book the tickets on Juneyao Air web-site and its App as well as at on-line ticketing platforms such as Ctrip and Trip.
According to Juneyao Air's international flight schedules for the winter season of 2018/2019, its 787-9 flight HO1605 departs from Pudong Terminal 2 for Changi on 1 February 2019 at 3.45 pm, touches down in Changi at 9.15 pm before leaving Changi Airport for Pudong at 10.30 pm and arriving in Pudong at 3.30 am on 2 February 2019 under flight HO1606. The Changi Airport final terminal of choice for Juneyao Air's flights will be indicated on Changi Airport's web-site one day before the launch date.
Passengers of Juneyao Air can connect with Singapore Airlines' flights at Terminals 3 and 2 for onward flights to other Juneyao Air/Singapore Airlines joint-destinations.
The Pudong-Changi route is Juneyao Air's first Dreamliner international route. Previously, Juneyao Air announced that the Dreamliner will be deployed on its first intercontinental flight to Helsinki in June 2019.
Earlier in April 2018, the reporter of Sayacinta - Airpost interviewed one of the Juneyao Airlines' crew on the airline's domestic flight from Pudong to Haikou and noted that Singapore Changi is one of the airline's planned international flight destinations that would be opened after the arrival of Juneyao Air's 787-9 aircraft.
According to Juneyao Air, it has reached a frequent flyer cooperation agreement with Singapore Airlines which will enable frequent fliers of both airlines to achieve mutual accummulation of mileage and exchange of tickets free of charge. Singapore Airlines customers can pay for Juneyao Air's tickets after redeeming Krisflyer miles as Juneyao Air is an associate member of Star Alliance. Passengers of Juneyao Air can also redeem their frequent flyer miles to pay for Singapore Airlines' flights.
On its international flights, Business Class and Economy Class passengers of Juneyao Air can check-in two free baggage with each maximum weight of 23 kg and total maximum dimensions of 158 cm and 1 carry-on baggage with maximum weight of 5 kg and total maximum dimensions of 115 cm.
