On 15 April 2024, Scoot welcomes its first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft at Singapore Changi Airport.

Named Explorer 3.0, it is the first of nine new E190-E2s introduced by Scoot to arrive in Singapore. The second Embraer E190-E2 aircraft is expected to arrive at the end of April, and the remaining seven are expected to be gradually delivered before the end of 2025.

On 11 April 2024, the first E190-E2 aircraft was delivered at Embraer's manufacturing plant in São José dos Campos, Brazil, and departed from Recife, Brazil on 12 April 2024 under flight PREEW, making multiple flights along the way including stops in Gran Canaria, Athens, Baku and Hyderabad.

After a stop for refueling in Phuket from Hyderabad at 9.28 am, flight PREEW departed for Changi at 10.31 am and was greeted by watergate when it landed in Changi in the afternoon of 15 April at 1.03 pm.

The last time an Embraer E190 to have landed in and departed from Singapore Changi Airport is Myanmar Airways International's E190-100LR registered XY-ALP in 2022 as above.
