Iraqi Airways launches direct scheduled flight from Baghdad to Beijing Capital Airport via Basra with its 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft on 4 May 2024.
On 4 May 2024, Iraqi Airways flight IA471 departs from Baghdad to Beijing Capital via Basra at 12.30 pm, transits in Basra at 1.30 pm before leaving Basra for Beijing at 2.30 pm and touching down in Beijing Capital at 4 am on 5 May 2024.
At 6 am of 5 May 2024, flight IA472 leaves Beijing Capital for Baghdad via Basra at 6 am, stops over in Basra at 9.30 am before taking off from Basra for Baghdad at 10.30 am and arriving in Baghdad at 11.30 am
Iraqi Airways flies to Beijing via Basra on Tuesdays and Saturdays and takes off from Beijing Capital via Basra on Wednesdays and Sundays.
