Uzbekistan Airways, operating on the Tashkent - Singapore - Kuala Lumpur - Tashkent routes, has been allowed to sell online tickets to customers traveling on the Singapore - Kuala Lumpur route. Passengers can now avail of the cheap one-way tickets of Uzbekistan Airways on this route at online ticketing platforms such as Ctrip, Zuji and Expedia. The Singapore - Kuala Lumpur air tickets, however, are not open for sale on Uzbekistan Airways' ticketing web-site.

The cheapest one-way ticket including taxes is 116.30 Singapore Dollars (by Zuji) at press time for travel on 27 July 2018. The lowest fare for travel on other Fridays including taxes is 107.30 Singapore Dollars (by Uzbekistan Airways Singapore GSA at Changi Airport), subject to availability.

Uzbekistan Airways flight HY553 arrives in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 7.50 am from Tashkent before departing under flight HY554 for Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang at 9.15 am and arriving in KLIA at 10.25 am on Fridays using B767-300ER aircraft. Eventually, it will deploy B787-8 on the direct route to Singapore.

Uzbekistan Airways is a full-service airline headquartered in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, and is the only airline to connect Tashkent with Singapore. Its inaugural scheduled flight to Singapore from Tashkent is on 3 April 2014.

Due to the one-month tourist visa-free policy granted to Singaporeans, Malaysians and Indonesians, passengers arriving in Tashkent with Uzbekistan Airways can connect seamlessly to other Central Asian flights to cities such as Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan.
