A random search on Qantas web-site shows that the Australian flag carrier begins its inaugural Dreamliner flight to Hong Kong from Melbourne on 13 December 2018 and tickets are now sold for travel from this date until 28 March 2019.

According to schedules, Qantas B787-9 flight QF29 departs from Melbourne for Hong Kong at 9.45 am, arrives in Hong Kong at 4.15 pm before leaving Hong Kong for Melbourne at 7 pm and arriving in Melbourne at 7.30 am under flight QF30.

Qantas is planning to deploy the Dreamliner on its Sydney - Hong Kong route on 29 March 2019 and on its Brisbane - Hong Kong route on 18 December 2018 although the web-site still shows non-Dreamliner aircraft operating on these routes at press time.
