At Farnborough Air Show, the Nigeria Government has unveiled the name, logo and fleet type of Nigeria's new national flag carrier Nigeria Air, which plans to take off for the Nigerian skies on 24 December 2018 from Lagos.
The logo of Nigeria Air is the national flag of Nigeria in the shape of an eagle in flight. Nigeria Air plans to include Airbus A330 and B737 MAX aircraft in its fleet and aims to operate up to 81 domestic, regional and long-haul routes from Lagos to destinations such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, Mumbai, Beijing and New York.
The Nigeria Government owns 5 per cent of Nigeria Air while the remaining stake balance is shared by private investors.
