Changi Airport on 24 October 2017 announced the first inbound and outbound pair of flights in Changi Airport T4 on 31 October 2017 besides the operational-readiness of the new terminal.

Cathay Pacific Airways flight CX659 departs from Hong Kong for Changi Airport T4 at 1.50 am, arrives in Changi Airport T4 at expected time 5.40 am before leaving T4 for Hong Kong at 6.50 am and touches down in Hong Kong at 10.45 am under flight CX650.

CX659/CX650 are operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft of Cathay Pacific.

An official ceremony will definitely be held to welcome  Changi Airport T4's first pair of inbound and outbound commercial flights operated by the Hong Kong airline.

Changi Airport on today's final rehearsal of T4 operations also said that Changi T4 will have 3000 workers by 7 November 2017.

As a reminder, Vietnam Airlines and AirAsia Group of airlines launch operations at T4 on 7 November 2017 while Cebu Pacific Air and Spring Airlines start operating at T4 on 2 November 2017. Korean Air is the second airline to touch down at T4 on 31 October 2017.

Direction signs have been erected at T1 and T3 alerting passengers to go to T4 to check-in for T4 flights. Look for the direction sign after exiting from Changi Airport MRT and walk along the path to reach the bus stop at T2 near Lao Airlines branch office for complimentary bus shuttle services to T4.

As part of the design of T4, staff-centred amenities have been incorporated in the terminal for a more conducive working environment for the terminal community. These include ergonomically-designed work stations, small freight lifts for transporting wheelchairs and strollers at the apron area of aircraft stands, and staff lounges.
