28 October 2017 marks the final day XiamenAir has flown to Hangzhou from Singapore as its sister airline Hebei Airlines launches flight to Singapore from Shijiazhuang via Hangzhou on 29 October 2017 (Sunday) and takes over the Singapore Changi Airport slot from XiamenAir.

XiamenAir continues to fly from Singapore to Xiamen, Fuzhou, Dalian and Xi'an Xianyang.

Congratulations to Hebei Airlines on its inaugural flight to Singapore on 29 October 2017!

Choose Hebei Airlines for comfortable flights to Hangzhou and Shijiazhuang now. Hebei Airlines has opened the new route to Singapore to meet the travel demand of Chinese tourists, expatriates and students of Hebei Province. Shijiazhuang is the capital of Hebei Province. More Singaporean tourists will discover an alternative way of travel to Beijing via Shijiazhuang.

Routes under Review / Departure Dates : Chongqing - Shijiazhuang - Nanjing (media trip on 14 to 15 April 2017) and Shijiazhuang - Hangzhou - Singapore  (29 October 2017) using B737-800 aircraft.

On 29 October 2017, Hebei Airlines B737-800 flight NS3527 departs from Shijiazhuang for Singapore via Hangzhou at 7.45 am, transits in Hangzhou at 9.45 am before leaving Hangzhou for Singapore at 11.15 am and touches down in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 4.15 pm.

At 5 pm on 29 October 2017, Hebei Airlines flight NS3528 leaves Singapore for Shijiazhuang via Hangzhou, arrives in Hangzhou at 9.50 pm for transit passengers to alight before embarking on the homeward bound journey for Shijiazhuang at 11.20 pm and arriving in Shijiazhuang at 1.25 am on 30 October 2017.

To celebrate the launch of daily scheduled flight to its second international destination Singapore, Hebei Airlines is selling budget return air fare of 600 Yuan (123 Singapore Dollars) for three to four days' stay in Singapore and return air fare of 500 Yuan (103 Singapore Dollars) for five days' stay in Singapore, excluding taxes and surcharges, for travel until 31 December 2017.

Flying to Shijiazhuang from Singapore is cheaper than flying direct to Tianjin, Zhengzhou with Scoot and Beijing with Air China and Singapore Airlines.

Aircraft Operation Service  : ***

Flight delays of up to 30 minutes on Hebei Airlines' routes are common, subject to weather conditions and air traffic control. Hebei Airlines does not cancel flights at last minute notice without refunds.

Inflight Safety Standard : ***

Inflight Service : ****

Hardcopies of Hebei Airlines' inflight magazine Hebeiair and CAAC Inflight Magazine are provided inflight on complimentary basis. Hebeiair can also be collected at Hebei Airlines Head Office.  No inflight pillows since Hebei Airlines is a budget full-service airline. On domestic and international flights, hot meals are served. The barf bags do not indicate the Hebei Airlines logo.

Ground Service in response to passengers' requests and enquiries : ***

In Shijiazhuang, Hebei Airlines handles passengers' requests and enquiries.

Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport is the headquarters airport of Hebei Airlines with flights operating from T1 (for international flights) and T2 (for domestic flights). All flights to Shijiazhuang land in this airport.

Hebei Airlines Head Office is located near T1 and Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport bullet train station (known also as T3).

Upon arrival in Shijiazhuang from Singapore, stay at the nearest Airport Hotel before embarking on any one-hour trip to Beijing West Train Station in the morning by bullet train from Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport Station.

Ticketing : ***

Buy tickets conveniently from Ctrip or at XiamenAir branch offices in China, Bangkok, Taipei, Singapore and airport counters in China. Hebei Airlines does not have sales offices in its logo name outside Shijiazhuang.

Overall Impression :  Hebei Airlines is a good three-star budget full-service airline. Its inflight service quality standard is higher than Hainan Airlines, Capital Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines and Loong Air, and it is as good as XiamenAir. However, it should conduct all-year-round marketing activities together with XiamenAir in international destinations to raise awareness of its Shijiazhuang flights and travel products.

** Poor / two-star
*** Good / three-star
***** Very good / five-star
****** Excellent / six-star (the highest category)
