Following the ceremonial flight to Zhengzhou on 3 September 2014 to announce the birth of Urumqi Air on 28 August, Urumqi Air has launched daily flights from Urumqi to Zhengzhou with effect from 4 September 2014.
The daily flight schedules of Urumqi Air on the Zhengzhou route are as follows:- Flight UQ2503 departs from Urumqi at 11.55 am for Zhengzhou, arrives in Zhengzhou at 3.35 pm before leaving Zhengzhou at 4.15 pm and touching down in Urumqi at 8.20 pm under flight UQ2504.
The new return flight to Zhengzhou is an addition to the existing flights operated between Urumqi and Zhengzhou by Hainan Airlines. Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport also has flights operated by Hainan Airlines to another city of Xinjiang, Korla since 3 September 2014. The frequency increase in Xinjiang flights from Zhengzhou will further enhance the airport status as an external gateway to Xinjiang.
XiamenAir flies from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta to Zhengzhou via Xiamen.
