Cebu Pacific Air launches flights to Kuwait on 2 September and Sydney on 9 September 2014

Cebu Pacific Air is launching long-haul flights from Manila to Kuwait on 2 September 2014 and to Sydney on 9 September 2014 with Airbus A330 aircraft.

On 2 September 2014, Cebu Pacific Air flight 5J7694 departs from Manila for Kuwait at 9.30 am and arrives in Kuwait at 3.10 am on 3 September. It leaves Kuwait under 5J7695 at 4.40 am and touches down in Manila at 7.20 pm. Flights to Kuwait are on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays while flights returning to Manila are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

On 9 September 2014, Cebu Pacific Air flight 5J7295 leaves Manila for Sydney at 12.15 am and arrives in Sydney at local time 10.05 am before taking off at 11.35 am and touching down in Manila at 5.30 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Cebu Pacific will operate an additional return frequency on Wednesdays from 10 December 2014.

Cebu Pacific Air is the first budget airline to launch long-haul flights to Kuwait from Southeast Asia while it is the third Asian low-cost airline to operate scheduled flights to Sydney after Scoot and AirAsia X. It has plans to begin scheduled flights to Yangon and Auckland from Manila by 2015.
