Vietnam Airlines launches domestic flight from SGN T3 on 17 April 2025

According to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), Vietnam Airlines launches domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) Terminal 3 (T3) on 17 April 2025, when it is the first day of operations at SGN T3. 

On 17 April 2025, SGN T3's inaugural flight is operated by Vietnam Airlines to Van Don, the airport of Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam.

According to schedules, Vietnam Airlines flight VN1286 departs from Ho Chi Minh City at T3 for Van Don at 5.55 am, touches down in Van Don at 8 am before leaving Van Don for SGN T3 at 8.40 am and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 10.50 am under flight VN1287.

Vietnam Airlines' A321 serves this route daily.

From 17 April 2025 onwards, domestic flights of Vietjet Air and domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines with the exceptions of routes to Con Dao and Rach Gia, begin commercial operations at SGN T3. Terminal 1 serves Ho Chi Minh City's air routes to Con Dao and Rach Gia, that are served by Vietjet Air's Comac C909 (from 19 April 2025) and ATR72-500 of Vietnam Air Services Corporation (VASCO).

越南航空透露自2025年4月17日起， 从胡志明市新山一机场第一航厦的大多数国内航班转场至第三航厦运营，昆岛 (Con Dao)，迪石(Rach Gia)航线除外。
