On 15 April 2025, Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) celebrates dual-launches of scheduled flights to Guilin and Dayong from Hong Kong.
According to schedules, GBA flight HB530 departs from Hong Kong for Guilin on 15 April 2025 at 7.50 am, touches down in Guilin at 9.30 am before leaving Guilin for Hong Kong at 10.20 am and arriving in Hong Kong at 12 pm under flight HB531.
GBA flies to Guilin on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
On 15 April 2025, according to schedules, GBA flight HB872 leaves Hong Kong for Dayong Hehua Airport at 9.55 pm, lands in Dayong at 11.55 pm before departing from Dayong for Hong Kong on 16 April 2025 under flight HB873 at 8 am and touching down in Hong Kong at 10.05 am.
GBA flies to Dayong, the gateway to the UNESCO Heritage Site of Zhangjiajie, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays before it returns to Hong Kong on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Passengers arriving in Hong Kong from Dayong can connect to GBA's flights to Narita.
Guilin and Dayong are the third and fourth mainland Chinese destinations of GBA after Zhoushan and Yichang.
Dayong Hehua Airport plans to open routes to Changi and Jeju
According to the Dayong Hehua Airport authority, the airport has opened routes to Incheon, Busan, Daegu, Cheongju and other destinations in South Korea, with an average of 60 flights per week, and international (regional) weekly flights exceeding 90 flights, covering major passenger source areas such as Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Suvarnabhumi and Cengkareng. In order to further improve international accessibility, Zhangjiajie Airport plans to open routes to Changi, Jeju, and increase flight frequencies to Incheon and Cheongju, and strive to exceed 650,000 international passenger throughput in 2025.
