On 12 April 2025, COMAC C909 flight QV331 operated by Lao Airlines takes off from Vientiane and arrives in Pakse at 10.17 am Lao time, successfully completing its first commercial flight.
The C909 aircraft is delivered to Lao Airlines by COMAC on 30 March 2025 on a lease basis. Shortly, Lao Airlines plans to use C909 aircraft to operate domestic routes in Laos and gradually expand to international routes. COMAC will continue to provide good customer service and operational support, and strive to ensure the safe and efficient operation of C909 aircraft in Laos, and promote the development of domestically produced aircraft in the Southeast Asian aviation market.
