On 11 April 2025, Cambodia Airways proudly celebrates the inaugural flight of its post-pandemic domestic route between Phnom Penh and Dara Sakor, marking a groundbreaking moment that connects the bustling capital with the serene beauty of Koh Kong province.
Cambodia Airways' inaugural departure flight KR809, operated by an Airbus A320, departs from Phnom Penh for Dara Sakor at 3.15 pm and touches down at the newly constructed Dara Sakor International Airport at 4 pm local time. Upon landing, passengers along with the flight crew were warmly welcomed by airport representatives.
At 4.40 pm, flight KR810, departs from Dara Sakor for Phnom Penh and arrives in Phnom Penh at 5.25 pm local time. The service operates one round-trip flight every Friday and will be increased to three round-trip flights a week in the future.
Cambodia Airways' introduction of this new route not only shortens the distance between Phnom Penh and Dara Sakor but also opens doors for travelers to conveniently explore the breathtaking beauty of the Dara Sakor region, known for its stunning beaches and natural wonders. Notably, the Phnom Penh= Dara Sakor exclusive flights operated by Cambodia Airways are the first pair of commercial flights currently operating between Phnom Penh and Koh Kong province.
