Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are beginning the work to secure a single operating certificate with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which will allow both airlines to operate as a single airline with an integrated  passenger service system. Meanwhile, the airlines continue to operate as separate airlines with no immediate changes to their operations and are maintaining their own web-sites, reservation systems and loyalty programs until later in the integration process.

Hawaiian Airlines has commercial flights from Honolulu to Narita and Incheon in Asia, Sydney in Australasia and ad hoc flights to Changi while Alaska Airlines code-shares with Starlux Airlines on the latter route from Taoyuan to Seattle. Passengers of Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines can benefit from each other's airline services.

Guests can book and travel with confidence knowing their trips will take place as planned  with the corresponding airline.
