According to foreign media reports, Czech Airlines will cease operations on 26 October 2024 and will be acquired by Czech airline Smartwings. The reports pointed out that the Czech national flag carrier has long faced financial difficulties exacerbated by internal conflicts and mismanagement.

So far, Czech Airlines only operates two routes: from Prague Vaclav Havel Airport to Paris and Madrid. Its fleet consists of two Airbus A320-200s, both of which will be fully incorporated into Smartwings, and the flight code "OK" will be stopped and replaced with "QS".

It is reported that on 26 October 2024, after completing the flight OK767 from Paris to Prague, Czech Airlines will end operations and withdraw from SkyTeam.
