MIAT Mongolian Airlines (exhibitor R-150 at JATA Tourism Expo 2024) plans to begin all-year-round scheduled flight from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN), the international gateway to Ulaanbaatar, to Sydney via Changi, Singapore by end of year 2025, initially with its solo Boeing B767-300ER (as above) to test the market demand of Mongolians, Singaporeans and Australians. Its 787-9 Dreamliner will be deployed on the Vietnam travel market instead.

Commencing 10 December 2024, the seasonal twice-weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City by MIAT's 787-9 Dreamliner (as above) is for gauging the demand for Vietnamese travel with an eventual aim to launch scheduled flight from Ho Chi Minh City to a airport destination in the United States.

There will not be a direct non-stop flight to the United States by MIAT's Dreamliner at this stage.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has no plans to launch scheduled flight to Hanoi from UBN as it does not have authorization to do so from the Vietnam civil aviation authority.

Aero Mongolia has seasonal scheduled flights to Hanoi from UBN.
