From 1 February 2024, Loong Air launches its new route from Hangzhou to KLIA, with three flights per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. This only new international route is one of many new routes that the airline plans to add in the coming months. Other new routes include Guangzhou=Enshi (GJ8925/GJ8926) and Wuhan=Shenzhen (GJ8967/GJ8968).

According to schedules, LoongAir's outbound flight GJ8035 takes off from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport at 11 am and arrives at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 4.25 pm while the return flight GJ8036 is planned to take off from KLIA at 5.25 pm and land at 10.50 pm in Hangzhou under flight GJ8036.

KLIA is Loong Air's second destination airport in Southeast Asia after Suvarnabhumi. The airline operates A320 on the flight to the Malaysian airport.

In order to meet the needs of international students from China and Malaysia, Loong Air has launched a "student discount" product on international and regional routes. Passengers who purchase the "Student Discount" product can carry one more piece of free checked baggage than ordinary passengers, and if the round-trip ticket has a maximum stay period of more than 6 months, the rescheduling fee for the return flight will be reduced by 50%. In addition, Loong Air has also launched a small group product. If two people form a group, the discount is as low as 92% off.
