Loong Air, Hangzhou's own airline, deploys its first A321neo (B-327P, Serial Number 10535) for the first time on its international flight to Suvarnabhumi on 26 January 2024. The A321neo was first put in service on Loong Air's domestic route network in March 2022.
Suvarnabhumi is the first foreign airport to receive Loong Air's A321neo as normally either its A320neo or rarely A320 operates Loong Air's flights to the airport.

According to schedules, Loong Air flight GJ8021 arrives in Suvarnabhumi by 1.40 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 26 January 2024, the A321neo lands in Suvarnabhumi five minutes early at 1.35 pm. It departs for Hangzhou under GJ8022 at 3.12 pm (scheduled time 2.45 pm).
Loong Air has scheduled its second A321neo flight to Suvarnabhumi on 29 January 2024.
The A321neo could be used to operate Loong Air's new scheduled flight to KLIA in February 2024 if demand for seats on the route rises.
Both Thailand and Malaysia have tourist entry visa waiver arrangements with Mainland China.
