China United Airlines unveils new logo livery officially on 16 January 2024

On 16 January 2024, China United Airlines holds its new livery imagery launch conference. The new brand image marked with "C" is officially unveiled, marking a breakthrough step for China United Airlines in brand building. The press conference is held at Beijing Daxing International Airport and is broadcast live online simultaneously.

The new logo of China United Airlines is simple and powerful. It follows the core elements C and U in the original brand logo "CUA". The two letters form a circle, symbolizing unity and connection, as well as circulation and innovation, highlighting the pursuit of innovation, a mental state of change and hard work. The three arcs of the "C" in the new logo represent China United Airlines' focus on society, employees and customers.

As a state-owned innovative and economical airline, China United Airlines has actively built a diamond-shaped route network with Daxing, Foshan, Chengdu and Wenzhou as fulcrums. It flies 122 routes and reaches 91 cities across the country. The current fleet size is 60 aircraft, including painted ones. It has a fleet of 13 aircraft and transports more than 10 million passengers annually.

At 3.30 pm on 16 January 2024, China United Airlines’ newly painted flight KN5899 takes off for Guangzhou. Through the live broadcast, all walks of life have witnessed the important historical moment of China United Airlines' new departure. It is reported that China United Airlines has completed the paint replacement of three aircraft. In addition to retaining the existing 13 painted aircraft, the entire fleet will be "renovated" based on the original painting replacement cycle.

In 2024, China United Airlines will uphold the concept of sincere service, leverage its brand advantages, and actively expand domestic and international routes. It plans to launch new popular flight routes to Beihai and Turpan, as well as international routes such as Fukuoka and Vladivostok, thus striving to build a "world-class" airline, an innovative economy airline.
