Cambodia Angkor Air has announced that from 16 October 2023, all domestic and international flights landing in Siem Reap will arrive in the newly-opened Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI). On that day, flights from Phnom Penh, Sihanouk and Danang will arrive in Angkor.
The first domestic flight from Phnom Penh to Angkor departs at 10.05 am, touches down in Angkor at 10.55 am under Cambodia Angkor Air flight K6105 while the second domestic flight to Angkor from Sihanouk leaves the latter airport at 1.10 pm and touches down in Angkor at 2.20 pm under flight K6130.
The first international flight to land in Angkor originates from Danang. On 16 October 2023, flight K6840 takes off from Danang for Angkor at 3 pm and arrives in Angkor at 4.50 pm.
The above flights are operated by Cambodia Angkor Air's ATR72 turboprop aircraft.
Cambodia Angkor Air is the only Cambodian airline that operates domestic and international flights from Phnom Penh.
The other airline tenants of SAI are Bangkok Airways and Vietnam Airlines.
AirAsia, Singapore Airlines and Jetstar Asia Airways continue to operate flights to the existing Siem Reap Airport until further notice.
