THAI launches A320 flight to Changi on 1 February 2024 following merger with Thai Smile

Thai Smile Airways currently operates a fleet of 20 Airbus A320 aircraft on behalf of Thai Airways International (THAI). By the end of 2023, this fleet will have been transferred to THAI as both airlines are being merged to lower operation costs. After the merger is complete, THAI launches A320 flight to Changi from Suvarnabhumi on 1 February 2024. There will be twice-daily A320 flights of THAI to Changi.

On 1 February 2024, THAI flight TG407 departs from Suvarnbahumi for Changi at 1.50 pm, touches down in Changi at 5.10 pm before leaving Changi for Suvarnabhumi at 6.15 pm under flight TG408 and arriving in Suvarnabhumi at 7.35 pm.

Then at 6.15 pm, THAI flight TG401 leaves Suvarnabhumi for Changi at 7.40 pm, arrives in Changi at 11 pm before taking off from Changi for Suvarnabhumi at 8.15 am and landing in Suvarnabhumi at 9.35 am under flight TG402.

By 1 February 2024, THAI operates five daily flights to Changi from Suvarnabhumi with a fleet of A320, A359 and 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Before 1 February 2024, THAI flies to Changi on code-sharing basis with Thai Smile Airways using THAI's A359 and 787-8 Dreamliner jets.
