Starlux Airlines continues its international flight expansion to Japan on 1 December 2023 when it commences its inaugural scheduled flight to Nagoya Chubu Centrair Airport from Taoyuan.
According to schedules, Starlux flight JX838 departs from Taoyuan for Chubu Centrair at 2.40 pm, touches down in Centrair at 6.15 pm before leaving Centrair for Taoyuan at 7.15 pm and arriving in Taoyuan at 9.50 pm under flight JX839.
Starlux Airlines flies to Centrair daily with its Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Centrair is the short form for Central Japan International Airport, another name for Chubu Centrair Airport located south of Nagoya. It is located on an artificial island in Ise Bay, Tokoname City, south of Nagoya.
The only airport hotel of this airport is named Centrair Hotel, which is of a walking distance of 130 metres from the Access Plaza of the airport and of 200 metres from the arrival lobbies. It is connected to the main city of Nagoya by train, taxi and bus.
