On 12 February 2022, Virgin Australia launches its second charter flight from Port Hedland in Australia to Seletar in Singapore with its Fokker F100 aircraft. The airline first begins its charter flight from Port Hedland to Seletar on 4 December 2021.
According to schedules, Virgin Australia flight VA9945 departs from Port Hedland for Seletar at 7 am and arrives in Seletar at 11.30 am. On 12 February 2022, VA9945 actually leaves Port Hedland for Seletar at 7.09 am and lands in Seletar at 11.10 am.
On 4 December 2021, VA9945 departed from Port Hedland for Seletar at 7.17 am and touched down in Seletar at 11.53 am.
The Port Hedland-Seletar route is an extension of the normal domestic Perth-Port Hedland route of Virgin Australia. It allows travelers on essential trips to reach Singapore's alternative gateway via the less busy airport of Port Hedland.
