DL9936 was expected to depart from Seattle for Singapore at 7 am and touch down in Singapore Changi at 2.30 pm. The flight was delayed due to bad weather in the region.

DL9936 is Delta Air's first resumption flight to Singapore since it suspended its Narita-Singapore-Narita routes from 22 September 2019.
The airline did not state whether the scheduled Seattle-Singapore flight will be regular.
