Frontier Airlines, which has been operating at Houston Bush International Airport for more than two decades, recently announced that it will launch flights from Hobby, another Houston airport, to expand its business.
Houston Hobby Airport was recently awarded the highest rating for the only five-star airport in North America. Recently, Frontier Airlines announced that it will launch its first scheduled flight at Hobby Airport (William P. Hobby Airport), which is double happiness for Hobby.
Frontier Vice President Alfredo Gonzalez said that he chose to develop business at Hobby Airport now, because Hobby Airport is a low-cost five-star airport, which complements Frontier's affordable services, and the market changes brought about by the epidemic also gave birth to Frontier Airlines' new direction of business development.
Frontier Airlines' service at Hobby Airport will begin in May 2022. New services include three non-stop flights per week from Hobby to Cancun, Mexico, starting from $79, four non-stop flights per week to Las Vegas, starting from $59, and four non-stop flights per week to Orlando, starting from $39.
In the meantime, Frontier will continue to maintain operations at Bush Airport.
Frontier Airlines advertises itself as offering cheap airfares and supporting the green environment. Their planes use special engines that, on average, use 43 percent less fuel than other planes. Images of endangered animals are printed on the tail of each aircraft.
