OKAir launches scheduled flight from Changsha to Linyi and Kansai on 5 December 2019 using its Boeing B737-900ER jet.
On 5 December 2019, OKAir flight BK3163 departs from Changsha for Linyi at 9.30 am and arrives in Linyi at 11.30 am. At 1 pm, the same flight inaugurates Linyi Shubuling Airport's first international service to Osaka Kansai and touches down in Kansai at 5 pm.
At 6 pm of 5 December 2019, flight BK3164 leaves Kansai for Linyi, touches down in Linyi at 8.30 pm for passengers to alight before departing from Linyi for Changsha at 10.50 pm and arriving in Changsha at 12.55 am on 6 December 2019.
OKAir flies to Kansai from Changsha via Linyi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends. With the addition of Linyi to OKAir's route network, it no longer operates non-stop flights from Changsha to Kansai from 5 December 2019.
Linyi is a prefecture-level city located in the south of Shandong Province. It is home to historical figures such as Zhuge Liang and Wang Xizhi. Sun Bin's Art of War and other classics on hand-written bamboo scripts are found here.
Beside Linyi, OKAir also operates non-stop flights to Kansai from Tianjin and Hangzhou.
