China Southern launches flight to Islamabad via Kunming on 25 December 2019

China Southern has confirmed that it is launching the Guangzhou-Kunming-Islamabad round-trip route on 25 December 2019 using its B737-800 aircraft. It returns to Guangzhou from Islamabad via Kunming on 26 December 2019. Currently, flight tickets are available for booking at ticket sales agencies and ticketing websites.

China Southern operates three flights a week between Guangzhou, Kunming and the Pakistani capital Islamabad. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the outbound flight CZ6701 departs from Guangzhou at 4.05 pm, transits in Kunming at 6.40 pm before taking off from Kunming at 8.10 pm and arrives in Islamabad at 11.20 pm on the same days. 

The return flight CZ6702 departs from Islamabad at 12.50 am local time every Thursday, Saturday and Monday, and arrives in Kunming at 8.35 am (Beijing time).  At 10.05 am, flight CZ6702 takes off for Guangzhou and touches down in Guangzhou at 12.15 pm.

According to the reporter's understanding, in 2018, China Southern's passenger traffic reached 140 million passengers, ranking first among Chinese airlines for 40 consecutive years. At present, China Southern Airlines has more than 3,000 flights a day to 224 destinations in more than 40 countries and regions, with more than 1,000 routes and more than 500,000 seats carrying more than 15 million passengers per year.
