Mr. Abdelhamid Addou, President of Royal Air Maroc, said, "Royal Air Maroc is proud to offer its passengers direct flights between Morocco and China after a long time. This new air route will certainly contribute to the development of Morocco as one of the world's leading tourism markets. We are responding to a strong need for direct flights between the two countries. We will participate in further strengthening the trade and economic relations between Morocco and China."

The launch of the new route to Daxing expands Royal Air Maroc's route network in Asia. Royal Air Maroc currently operates direct flights from Casablanca to Jeddah, Riyadh, Beirut, Doha and Amman in West Asia.

Royal Air Maroc is the fifth Africa airline to serve the Beijing travel market after Ethiopian Airlines, EgyptAir, Air Algerie and TAAG Angolan Airlines.
