Scoot announced that from 23 September 2019, the processing fee for all bookings on the official web-site of Scoot will be cancelled worldwide. This measure aims to reduce the cost of passenger travel.  The cancellation of the processing will bring travellers more convenience, affordability, and cost-effectiveness.

Scoot's destinations are spread across 67 cities in 17 countries and regions. In an intensive route network, Scoot's payment system also supports a variety of payment methods. The payment method for passengers depends on the country and region.

In addition to global payment options, such as credit cards (American Express, JCB, MasterCard, UnionPay, VISA), ApplyPay, GooglePay, and PayPal, Scoot also accepts payment methods that are only available in certain countries or regions, such as China's WeChat. Payment and Alipay, Singapore's PayNow and AXS, Australia's POLi, Philippines' DragonPay, Japan's Konbini and Vietnam's Momo.

Since March 2018, starting from Europe, Scoot has gradually cancelled the processing fee for booking tickets on official channels in some regions. Subsequently, in the near future, when some other regional travelers choose to use local payment methods including AXS (for Singapore customers), Konbini (for Japanese customers) and Momo (for Vietnamese customers), the processing fee is also cancelled.
