MIAT Mongolian Airlines has signed an official agreement with Air Lease Corporation (ALC) on 25 September 2019 to lease a 787-9 Dreamliner from the 787 aircraft leasing firm in order to launch future long haul non-stop flights to the US and Singapore from Ulaanbaatar.
No further details are announced by the Mongolian national flag carrier.
ALC is the traditional 787 Dreamliner leasing firm. Well-known airlines like LOT Polish Airlines and EVA Air have known to lease their Dreamliners from the company.
