On 2 August 2019, Juneyao Air and Wuxi Shuofang International Airport Pte Ltd signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU), formalising each other's intentions to support each other's operations in Wuxi.
Under the MOU, the Wuxi airport will provide Juneyao Air with office space, ground handling services etc to Juneyao Air and its passengers while Juneyao Air will base its aircraft overnight in Wuxi as it plans to establish an operation base to launch future international flights from Wuxi to Incheon, Busan, Jeju, Narita, Fukuoka, Osaka Kansai, Suvarnabhumi and Singapore Changi and other future Southeast Asia city airports.
Currently, Juneyao Air flies to six Chinese cities from Wuxi. Its operation bases are in Shanghai (Hongqiao and Pudong) and Nanjing. With headquarters in Shanghai Hongqiao, it has operated commercial flights since 2006.
