According to a report by Aviation Nepal, Himalaya Airlines has been authorized by CAAC to launch direct non-stop flight from Kathmandu to Daxing, the second international airport of Beijing as pictured above in early 2019.
Daxing has slots for international flights from Helsinki (by Finnair), Warsaw (by LOT), London (by British Airways), Casablanca (by Royal Air Maroc), Fukuoka and now Kathmandu.
Himalaya Airlines plans to launch Nepal's first flight to Daxing on 27 October 2019. However, the flight details are yet to be available. Currently, it operates flights to Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dhaka and Damman using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Daxing will be officially open to domestic and international flights on 30 September 2019.
