Air Koryo resumes flight to Macau on 2 August 2019

According to Macau International Airport, Air Koryo resumes flight from Pyongyang to Macau on 2 August 2019 using its Tupolev TU-204 aircraft after a hiatus of fifteen years.

On 2 August 2019, Air Koryo flight JS187 departs from Pyongyang for Macau at 10.10 am, touches down in Macau at 2.10 pm before leaving Macau for Pyongyang at 3.35 pm and arriving in Pyongyang at 7.35 pm under flight JS188.

Air Koryo's flight to Macau lasts four hours. There is no commercial marketing on this route by Air Koryo although the Civil Aviation Department of Macau has authorized the North Korean flag carrier to operate twice weekly flights to Macau.

Air Koryo has a ticketing office in Macau. Before the resumption of flights, travel agencies in Macau have to arrange passenger transfers via Zhuhai and Beijing for the onward flights of Air Koryo to Pyongyang.

From 1996 to 2004, Air Koryo had scheduled flights to Bangkok Don Mueang via Macau.
