In order to inspect the engine of the Boeing 787, as of the end of this month, ANA cancelled 997 domestic flights. By the end of October 2018, a total of 212 international flights are scheduled to be cancelled including flights to Singapore, Hong Kong and Suvarnabhumi.

The report also said that the newly cancelled flights on the routes between Nagoya Chubu Centrair and Fukuoka, Naha, Fukuoka and Miyazaki, Naha and Ishigaki and flights between Osaka Kansai and Sapporo New Chitose are expected to affect about 153,000 passengers.  Engine failure has a long-term impact on All Nippon Airways' operational and business performance.
