V Air launches scheduled flights to Don Mueang and Chiang Mai

V Air, Taiwan's second low-cost airline which is owned by TransAsia Airways, is commencing scheduled Taipei flights to Don Mueang and Chiang Mai from 17 December 2014, the beginning of its winter schedules.

On 17 December, V Air flight ZV5 departs from Taipei-Taoyuan for Don Mueang at 6.40 am, arrives in Don Mueang at 9.10 am before leaving Don Mueang at 10.10 am and touching down in Taoyuan at 3.30 pm under ZV6 using its Airbus A320 aircraft. From 22 December, V Air flies between Taoyuan and Don Mueang on a daily basis.

V Air's first flight to Chiang Mai begins on 7 January 2015. Flight ZV9 departs from Taoyuan for Chiang Mai at 4 pm and arrives in Chiang Mai at 7 pm before embarking on the return journey at 8 pm and arriving in Taoyuan at 12.40 am. The airline does not have fixed weekly flight schedules for its Chiang Mai flights.
