Vietnam Airlines' A350-900 launches VIP flight to Changi on 8 February 2023

On 8 February 2023, Vietnam Airlines' A350-900 (A350XWB) launches VIP flight to Changi from Hanoi. On that day, flight VN1 departs from Hanoi for Changi at 12.39 pm and touches down in Changi at 4.39 pm. Vietnam Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation are onboard the flight. This is the first time an A350XWB of Vietnam Airlines has landed in Changi.

According to FlightRadar24, the A350-900 is due to depart for the outbound flight to Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei, at 3.05 pm on 10 February 2023 and is expected to arrive in Brunei at 5 pm on 10 February, Again, it marks the first time Vietnam Airlines is operating charter flight to Brunei.

On 10 February, according to FlightAware, VN1 departed from Changi Air Base instead at 3.31 pm and arrived in Brunei at 5.21 pm. It is estimated to take off for Hanoi at 4.30 pm and arrive in Hanoi at 6.25 pm on 11 February 2023.

Vietnam Airlines' A350 aircraft is often seen on routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Pudong, Incheon, Kansai, Narita and Europe and in the past week to Vientiane.

VN1 is the flight code of Vietnam Airlines' VIP flight. In 2022, VN1 flew to Changi with a 787-9 Dreamliner.

  2. Yes but I miss shooting a picture of the flight to Changi as a loss of my item distracted me. Hope A350 of Vietnam Airlines can operate commercial flight to Changi instead of the usual A321/A321neo in future.
