VietJet Air launches flights to Melbourne and Sydney on 8 April and 12 April 2023 respectively

VietJet Air launches long-haul flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne and Sydney with its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on 8 April 2023 and 12 April 2023 respectively.

According to schedules, VietJet Air flight VJ081 departs from Ho Chi Minh City for Melbourne at 10.55 am, touches down in Melbourne at 10.35 pm local time on 8 April 2023 before leaving Melbourne for Ho Chi Minh City at 12.30 am on 5 April 2023 and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 6.30 am under flight VJ082.

VietJet Air flies to Melboune on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while it lands in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On 12 April 2023, VietJet Air outbound flight VJ085 takes off from Ho Chi Minh City for Sydney at 7.30 pm, lands in Sydney at 7.20 am on 13 April 2023 before departing from Sydney for Ho Chi Minh City at 10.15 am and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 4.30 pm local time under flight VJ086.

VietJet Air flies to Sydney on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays while it arrives in Ho Chi Minh City from Sydney on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

VietJet Air now has five A330-300 aircraft operating on its long-haul flights. As of 12 April 2023, they will have flown to more than five cities including Almaty, Astana, Tokyo, Incheon, Melbourne and Sydney. It has an additional order for four more A330-300 jets to widen its flight network coverage. Its future long-haul destinations include Tashkent, Bishkek, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Frankfurt.
