Urumqi Air's flight plan to Changi by 17 February 2023 is subjected to change

According to VariFlight, Ctrip, Trip and FlightRadar24, Urumqi Air has plan to resume flight from Urumqi to Changi via Wuhan and the flight schedules have been exposed for the period between 14 and 17 February 2023. It is understood that Urumqi Air has applied to Changi Airport for the approval of the flights.

The future schedules of Urumqi Air to Changi are as follows:-

Flight UQ2005 leaves Urumqi for Changi via Wuhan at 8 am, transits in Wuhan at 11.50 am before leaving Wuhan for Changi at 1 pm and touching down in Changi at 3.50 pm.

The future schedules of Urumqi Air from Changi to Urumqi are as follows:-

Flight UQ2006 departs from Changi for Urumqi via Wuhan at 5 pm, transits in Wuhan at 7.50 pm before leaving Wuhan for Urumqi at 9 pm and landing in Urumqi at 10.50 pm.

According to Ctrip and Trip, Urumqi Air plans to operate flights to Terminal 1 of Changi Airport.

The flights are subject to change without the airline's prior notice and are subject to bilateral approval. The flights from 14 to 16 February 2023 were cancelled, leaving 17 February 2023 as a possible date of the first flight resumption.

According to VariFlight, 110 passengers were preparing to depart from Wuhan to Changi on 16 February. There were no passengers on flight UQ2005 from Urumqi to Wuhan.

VariFlight has only stated check-in counters for UQ2005 on the following days at Urumqi Diwopu Airport are at Rows 21 to 32 and the counters for check-in close at 7.20 am while check-in counters in Wuhan are at Rows H02 to H06 for Economy Class passengers.

To date, Changi Airport has approved Chongqing Airlines, Hebei Airlines and GX Airlines to resume commercial flights to Changi from Chongqing, Hangzhou and Nanning respectively. Hebei Airlines resumes flight to Terminal 1 of Changi on 22 February 2023, Chongqing Airlines follows on 23 February 2023 while GX Airlines resumes commercial flight to Changi from Nanning by operating its first flight to Terminal 1 of Changi Airport on 7 March 2023.

Meanwhile, Changi Airport's family of T2 operators now include Air India, Air India Express, Royal Brunei Airlines (since 6 February 2023), Lufthansa German Airlines (from 9 February 2023), Swiss International Airlines (since 9 February 2023) and Sichuan Airlines (from 17 February 2023).
