Air Niugini launches fortnight flight to Koror on 13 December 2022

Air Niugini is adding its first new country destination during the pandemic in December 2022, Palau. On 13 December 2022, it launches its inaugural scheduled flight from Port Moresby to Koror, the capital of Palau, with its B767-300ER jet.

On 13 December 2022, Air Niugini flight PX006 departs from Port Moresby for Koror at 7.30 pm, touches down in Koror at 10 pm before leaving Koror for Port Moresby at 11.30 pm and arriving in Port Moresby at 4 am under flight PX005.

According to Air Niugini, the scheduled flight will be operated once in a fortnight.

Palauans travelling with Air Niugini can transit in Port Moresby for their onward flight to Brisbane.

For Koror, Air Niugini is the country's fourth foreign national airline to land in the capital after United Airlines, Caroline Islands Air and China Airlines.
