Cathay Pacific's first A350-1000 to take off for Hong Kong soon

Cathay Pacific’s first Airbus A350-1000 has completed its first engine operation and it is expected to take off for its first flight delivery to Hong Kong soon.

The A35K, which is registered as B-LXA, is the first of Cathay Pacific's 20 A35K orders. Upon delivery, Cathay Pacific will become the second A35K operator after Qatar Airways.

Cathay Pacific's A35K passenger cabin has a total of 334 C46/W32/Y256 cabins. The Hong Kong's largest airline has announced that the A35K's commercial test flights will be to Sydney, among other destinations and its first regular international long-haul route will be Hong Kong to Washington on 15 September 2018.
