United Airlines operates Dreamliner's longest direct flight to Singapore on 1 June 2016

United Airlines which will suspend scheduled flights to Singapore from Washington via San Francisco and Tokyo-Narita after 27 March 2016 launches Dreamliner's longest direct flight from San Francisco to Singapore on 1 June 2016 and from Singapore to San Francisco on 3 June 2016. 

On 1 June, flight UA1 departs from San Francisco at 11.25 pm, arrives in Singapore at 6.45 am on 3 June 2016 before leaving Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 8.45 am on 3 June and arriving in San Francisco at 9.15 am American time under flight UA2.

Flights are operated by United's Boeing B787-900 Dreamliner jet in a two-class configuration. With the new direct flight that saves travelers up to 4 hours each way, United Airlines will stop transiting in Tokyo-Narita on 2 June 2016. Besides, it will continue to operate flights to Singapore from Chicago via Hong Kong.
